Here is Part 2 of the Portland street style shoot with Jade Rose and Sam Rosen that I shared in Part 1 earlier this week. After taking photographs at Albina Press, Jade and Sam changed outfits and we walked west on SE Hawthorne Boulevard. We got lucky and found a colorful mural which made a really fun backdrop for our photos. Peplum, patterned tights, polka dots, and red lipstick? Check. How gorgeous are these two ladies? I’ll have Part 3 up for you next week!
What are your plans for the weekend? It’s Friday, and we’ve got blue skies and 60 degree weather here in Portland. Spring teaser! I signed Zac and I up for a Barre3 class today, so I’ll let you know how that goes; it’s the Valentine’s Day that keeps on giving!
Oh! I am obsessed with those leopard tights! Gorgeous photos. Thanks for giving me a great start to the weekend!
Thanks so much, Steph! I’m so happy that you have a blog (I’m kicking myself for not discovering it earlier)… I love the way you write and can imagine you having all sorts of classy socialite adventures all over DC (and the world).
So, so, so gorgeous! Love my girl Sam! She looks so cute in the portrait of her smiling with her mouth closed!
Thanks Justine! I didn’t know you were friends with Sam! I’ve met a few people in Portland who know her
She’s gorgeous, fun to be around, and so so sweet!
Gorgeous, gorgeous photos! Must have been fun to shoot such lovely ladies in those cool backgrounds, too! Love the shoe shots!
Thanks Suzannah! It was SO much fun. There are so many great spots in Portland for photographs. It helps too shooting such beautiful people! Hope you’re having a relaxing weekend & that you’re up to some DIY goodness, too.
You two look so gorgeous! Well done.
Thanks so much Kendra! Sam & Jade are amazing. Hope your week is off to a great start!
Love the photos! What an awesome backdrop! How did that barre 3 class go?!?! haha
Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Thanks so much, Leigh! The Barre 3 class kicked our butts. Truly! It was a couples class, and there was beer & champagne (and guacamole!) afterward. I’m just getting over the soreness!
Love these! They make me miss my long hair. Dangit.
I feel like you do have long hair! The good thing is, warmer weather’s coming & hair grows faster when it’s warm. Or so I’ve read!
I loved that shot of the stacked heel. There was just so much … detail/texture/personality there.
Thanks so much, Aki! It is one of my favorites too. Hope your week is going well… on my way to visit your blog!
